I also think we are at the money phase now though. I think everyone is sufficiently inspired and has access to inspiration. Young people now need investment and doors opened for them.

I don't think South Africa speaks enough about the Maluleke Sisters. Young women need role models like this. We need to see more stories like these of black women being trailblazers in their respective careers.📌

Ghana had a MOUTH regarding South Africa's internal affairs, writing letters to the toothless AU when they can't even host a sport event on a budget of $4 million. Mind you, Botswana only had a budget of $1.2 million and hosted a spectacular event.

There should be a street in Joburg named after Maria McCloy. This cultural work we do, is often thankless and the impact often unknown - but no one did more for Johannesburg than Maria. She was an absolutely fierce and prolific PR head and deep lover of culture and music.
