@pinchehonkey I grazed it hard until March 3rd, mine looks like hell. I’m watering it, 10 th of April I’ll see if I need to use the fence or roll it up. It’s all headless for hay, so I can graze it out if needed.

@cowbroker Been hearing about it in November, everyone thought it was a bird flu, in January, I had something different went and cleaned out the hospital cattle in about 2 weeks and was gone. IDK what it was but I guess we need to trust the science.😂😂😂

@ArneAlvarado There are too many 5 Rivers Yards at Greeley and GI is 6 hours to the east for them to mothball it. I can see them taking a page out Big Greens book and go one shift with Srubs and others.

The JBS Greeley plant announced it will suspend operations due to a planned strike by around 3,800 workers, which will begin on March 16, 2026 I would not put it past for JBS to use the strike as an excuse to permanently close. I hope the strike doesn't backfire on the employees.

If you like the meat industry but don’t like risk, become a USDA inspector for a few years and then go into industry. You’ll be 3x more valuable as a consultant or employee that see’s it through FSIS eyes. Plus from what I’m told we need more inspectors.
