⚠️ Is this the SuiPlay refund? ⚠️ Imagine paying $600 (around 220 Sui) for a device billed as the ultimate web3 gaming console, but all you see are negative reviews, people reporting issues, and various other complications. Upon seeing this, you decide to cancel the purchase and request a refund. The company takes a long time to refund your money, and when they do, they only refund $400 and keep your $200 after making you wait months. An important detail: the device wasn't even shipped because the buyer didn't request a refund to evaluate the feedback from people who would have received it first. In other words, there was no shipping cost to justify the $200 discount on the return. And his @SuiPlay is the standard one, not the legendary one that received several airdrops. Well, this happened to a member of the Sui community and probably to many others, or it could happen to those who haven't yet requested a refund but are planning to. So, I ask, is this fair? @Mysten_Labs heavily marketed this, selling it as the perfect device. Most buyers felt cheated, and for users who request a refund, they still keep part of the money that should have been returned in full. What's going on, Mysten and @PLAYTR0N? Are you going bankrupt? Let me make a comparison: in my country, import taxes are 93%. When @solana sold the Solana Phone to several members in my country, they realized it wouldn't be viable when it was shipped. What did they do? They refunded 100% of the device's value, left the SBT NFT that was generated in the users' wallets, and they even won an airdrop. Now let's look at Mysten and Playtron. They remove the SBT NFT from those who request a refund and still refund less than the person paid. Does that make sense? 🔮 BioXP Update: Expiry Halt and Next Steps
We are making some immediate updates to the BioXP system after receiving feedback from the community and as we prepare for the next phase of the Bio Launchpad (Season 2).
To recap: BioXP usually expires 14 days after it has been issued to reduce XP concentration, and ensure launches stay fair & accessible.
Updates:
1. XP expiry will be stopped immediately.
Expiration of XP will be halted. This pause will remain in place while launches are on hold.
2. BioXP that expired from October 17 onward (14 days after the last launch on Oct 3) will be returned to users.
3. BioXP earned from Oct 3 until the upcoming launch of Season 2 will stay valid and count toward rewards at the start of Season 2.
4. BioXP that expired before Oct 17 (including XP earned before the last launch on Oct 3) will remain expired.
These points were part of the most recent round of launches and will therefore not be reinstated.
4. Yapping XP remains paused; and staking is the only way to earn BioXP.
Yapping XP in its previous format is ending in favor of new ways to reward creators being released with Season 2.
A larger update will follow soon detailing the new launch and XP mechanics in Season 2, including putting BIO staking at the center of the XP system, transparent staking formulas & more.
