@PingpingTweets @hrw Laban sa pasistang Duterte at Marcos pero ayaw lumaban para sa malayang Palestine. Pasista PingPing. Nalungkot ka sa War on Drugs, sa nangyari sa Marawi. Pero you're equating Palestine as Hamas. You're no better than Duterte.

This guy is 1,000% setting himself up with some gig app that he himself is involved in, which is why he's campaigning so hard for legal clearance for one. Any community-based carpooling effort is just going to use a Viber group, which every community already has.
James Deakin@TransportGuy

Yesterday I wrote an open letter on behalf of the motoring public to the LTFRB and MMDA about community carpooling. Today, we were formally invited to the table. Credit to MMDA chairman Artes for reaching out and being proactive. This is how it should be. Unfortunately, I can’t make it in person due to a death in the family, but I have submitted a formal position paper, and I want you to know exactly what it says. Here is the short version. The new carpooling guidelines being drafted today are a good start. Company shuttles, non-profit, streamlined permits. I support it. But it only helps people who work for companies large enough to organize one. That leaves out a lot of Filipinos. What we are pushing for is the community version. You register once, in person, with your subdivision HOA or your employer, just to make sure you are indeed part of that community. After that, you can use the app and match only with verified neighbors or colleagues going the same direction. The platform charges nothing. No permits. No government registration. Just two people deciding not to take two cars. This is already legal. Former LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra said so on record. Community carpooling with no platform fees falls outside LTFRB jurisdiction. That was true then. It’s still true now. What’s been missing is a public endorsement that gives communities the confidence to build without fear of being shut down the way Wunder was. Three things I’m formally asking for in the position paper: One. Include community-based carpooling in the guidelines being written tomorrow. Two. Issue a public statement confirming it is legal and encouraged. Three. Recognize that the company shuttle model and the neighborhood carpool model serve different people. They can coexist. They should coexist. The full position paper is on record. If you want to see this happen, share this post. The more people behind this, the harder it is to ignore.

During a Security Council session, I sounded a siren with a 15-second timer and asked the ambassadors to imagine the reality in Israel: "Imagine you have 3 children and 15 seconds to run to a shelter. Which child do you take first?"

No, the data isn't thin. Multiple prospective studies (e.g., 100 patients in Norway 2024, 97 in Australia 2009, 75 in UK 2007) tested blood/urine from suspected drink-spiking cases, often within 4-12 hours. GHB was detected in 0-1% (none in Norway despite >50% sampled in window; one ambiguous case in Aus). Classic sedatives like Rohypnol: near zero. Unreported drugs: 15-28%, mostly voluntary party substances (amphetamines, cocaine, cannabis). High ethanol common, often inconsistent with reported intake. Covert spiking rate: estimated 2-22% max across reviews, far below self-reported suspicions. Timely sampling accounts for GHB's short half-life (30-60 min) and detection (blood ~8h, urine ~12h). Patterns point to alcohol overconsumption or stronger pours more than covert GHB.

@Emannytheory @uwu_underground @Cloudflare The studies themselves can't even tell if it's the body's own to the spiking levels when the 12 hours has already passed. And that is without alcohol.

@PapaThursday @uwu_underground @Cloudflare The data is still recorded which is what the studies look at we aren't looking at enforcement were looking at raw data. At 12 hours it's still detectable if onto arguably enforceable for criminal procedure.

@PapaThursday @uwu_underground @Cloudflare Half life isn't detectability those are different things. Half life is the time it takes to be at half previous concentration not time to 0 it's in the name HALF life.

@Emannytheory @uwu_underground @Cloudflare Not if it's consumed with alcohol. It's eliminated within 1.5 hours. You're ignoring that fact. And the half life of GBH even without alcohol is 60 minutes at most. Your data is faulty.

@PapaThursday @uwu_underground @Cloudflare Blood for GBH is typically up to 8 hours and urine is up to 12 even with alcohol unless you have a source showing otherwise. Half life and undetectable aren't the same thing.

@PapaThursday @uwu_underground @Cloudflare @grok what percentage of bar aged women (women most commonly going out drinking/partying) are on a prescription drug that could have an effect with alcohol that would make them feel as if their drink was spiked.

So your claim is that drinks are made extra strong for women which bold claim but doesn't counter my "women don't handle their alcohol" unless you're drinking pure liquor if you're drinking like a reasonable person ie less than 1 drink per 15 minutes you can see how the alcohol is affecting you before drinking more.

@Emannytheory @uwu_underground @Cloudflare It's consistently thin. You're ignoring that GBH when consumed with alcohol WILL only be detectable in 1.5 hours, far faster than when you're done with the ER. You're also ignoring the fact that spiking with alcohol is also common so those elevated BAC isn't evidenced against.

And consistent, you didn't address how in most of the data not only were no drugs detected but their BAC was very elevated. How when drugs were detected most were common party drugs that would be counter productive for SA. Whats more likely there's a drink spiking epidemic tbst seems to avoid the consistently tested data or that women have an outlier reaction to alcohol and or their drugs of choice that night and misattributed it?

@Emannytheory @uwu_underground @Cloudflare Do you need to get everything tested? GBH itself can only be traced in the blood for 12 hours, significantly less if you do urine. The data you're pointing at is thin at most. Every test that you point at is thrown away when 4 hours have passed.
