“In the august sacrament of the holy Eucharist, after the consecration of the bread and wine, our Lord Jesus Christ, true God and true man, is truly, really, and substantially contained under the species of those sensible things.”— Council of Trent, Session XIII, Chapter 1 (1551)
The Fathers of Trent selected three adverbs with precision to affirm the Catholic doctrine of the Real Presence against the errors of the Protestant Reformation: "truly, really, and substantially".
Each adverb counters a specific denial of the doctrine of the Holy Eucharist:
Truly (vere): Affirms the veritable reality of Christ’s presence. This repudiates views (such as those associated with Berengar of Tours in earlier controversies) that reduced the Eucharist to a mere symbolic or metaphorical presence. Christ is truly present, not in appearance only.
Really (realiter): Emphasizes an objective, ontological presence in the order of being. This directly opposes symbolic or figurative interpretations, such as those of Zwingli, who saw the Eucharist primarily as a sign or memorial. The presence is real and actual, not merely subjective or imaginative.
Substantially (substantialiter): Declares that Christ is present by His substance—whole and entire, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. This counters dynamic or spiritual-presence views (e.g., Calvin’s), affirming that the Eucharist involves a true change of substance (transubstantiation), while the appearances (species) of bread and wine remain.
These adverbs, drawn from the Council’s decree and Canon I, serve as keys to orthodox teaching: they exclude reductions of the Eucharist to a sign, figure, or mere virtue/power, while upholding the full Catholic faith in the Real Presence.
“If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most holy Eucharist are contained truly, really, and substantially the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ… but says that He is only therein as in a sign, or in figure, or virtue: let him be anathema.”— Council of Trent, Session XIII, Canon 1
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament flows from this truth. The same Christ who is present in heaven is sacramentally present on our altars—"truly, really, and substantially".

I'm not surprised in the slightest. Some of us have been begging you to see that this was all a political op that started when Charlie Kirk was assassinated. I hope that it's clear now.

NICK FUENTES IS OUT OF THE CLOSET We told you so... Nick Fuentes, now BY HIS OWN ADMISSION, says he is a DEMOCRAT. We told you it was an op. We told you he was not on "OUR SIDE." It was never "INFIGHTING." Some of us just saw this coming from a mile away.

The Church's teaching on the Four Last Things remind us of the realities that await every human soul at the end of earthly life. They are death, judgment, heaven, and hell. These truths call all believers to live in a state of grace, mindful that time on earth is short and eternity is forever.
Death is the separation of the soul from the body. It is the certain end of our earthly pilgrimage, appointed by God as the consequence of original sin. The Church teaches that death is not the end but the passage to eternal life. Catholics are urged to prepare for it through prayer, sacramental living—especially by worthy reception of the Holy Eucharist—and a life of virtue, so that they may meet it with hope rather than fear.
Immediately after death comes the particular judgment. In this moment, Christ, who is the just Judge, evaluates the soul’s life in the light of truth. Every thought, word, and deed is weighed. If the soul dies in friendship with God, having been purified of all sin either in life or in purgatory, it enters heaven. If it dies in unrepented mortal sin, rejecting God’s mercy, it is deserving of hell. This judgment is final and irreversible for the individual soul.
Heaven is the eternal vision of God face to face, the fulfillment of all human longing. In heaven the blessed are united with the Blessed Trinity, the angels, and all the saints in perfect joy, love, and peace. There is no more suffering, no tears, and no separation. This is the destiny God desires for every person.
Hell is the state of eternal separation from God, chosen by those who persistently reject His grace and mercy. It is a place of real suffering and the loss of the greatest good. The Church affirms its existence as a consequence of free will: God forces no one to love Him. Hell serves as both a warning and a reminder of the gravity of sin and the importance of repentance.
Together, the Four Last Things orient the Christian life toward eternity. They encourage frequent examination of conscience, devotion to the saints, and trust in divine mercy while warning against presumption and despair. By meditating on them, as was the practice of many saints, the faithful are moved to greater fidelity, charity, and hope, living each day as if it were their last, always ready to appear before the Lord.

I’m paying close to $300 a tank to run my truck. And that’s not including gas for farm activity. I have a farm. I can’t haul any livestock ANYWHERE. Neither can my neighbors who have cattle. One of them sold all his cattle and he’s out of the business. I know many farmers who grow hay, wheat, pumpkin, corn, cattle and they’re going under. People do not understand how much trouble we are in as a country.
