Thanks, I’m Gen X & my parents were Greatest Generation so I think differently & respect. However, I will be the first one to call out a bad cop once it’s proven, no patience for that. I’ve been around cops my entire life, not the family business, but from a genuine interest & as Sherlock Holmes said “I’m a student of crime.” Academics for years, Citizen’s Police Academy’s when I was younger, work years ago with the State’s Attorney & many friends. That attitude towards law enforcement in the last six years is garbage, disgraceful & just sickening. Too much political bs that puts cops in the middle. I pray for the right outcome here, it’s tragic that man is dead, but tragic for this officer & the others at the scene. We need to do better
