@Perry8k @stablekwon To put it in a different way, basing burns on trans vol is going to take a long time unless burn rate is very high initially and tapers off. In addition, if most of it is held by few and those few do not engage, effort may be fruitless.

@stablekwon What will it hurt to add a burn mechanism to #LUNC to decrease the overall supply of the coin? There is still a massive amount of support for the old coin!

@Perry8k @stablekwon Pls cite coins/tokens on centralised exchanges that has burn mechanism h. Think one must identify what wallets holds majority (95% +). If only a few wallets holds most, then those wallets must be willing to participate. Think Community can also propose design for the burn mech.

@ShibInform 80% will not cut it if the supply in circulation is 6.5 trillion. Burning 80% leaves 1.3 trillion. Is this some kind of joke or there are planned utilities for that amount of tokens? If not, 99% or more should be considered. Is this an official Terra twitter?
