You’d have thought that given the political backdrop of Epstein pushing trans medicine, and Mandelson’s association with him, plus Starmer’s promotion of dodgy colleagues… oh and the Nick Brown thing… that the very, very last policy Labour would choose to launch atm would be granting teachers permission to ‘trans’ 4 year olds in British schools. But clearly @UKLabour, @Keir_Starmer and @bphillipsonMP have totally lost the plot. Just leave our kids alone @UKLabour, you’re not fit to safeguard an inanimate object, let alone our children.

I see the horrors of ‘social transitioning’ in my therapy practice. Children so estranged from themselves that hearing their birth name can trigger a breakdown. The constant turmoil of knowing they will never actually be the other sex. This is state-sanctioned child abuse.

This is yet another shambolic #SafeguardingFail from @bphillipsonMP @educationgovuk @10DowningStreet. They have allowed the key #Safeguarding document #KCSIE to be infiltrated & used to undermine effective safeguarding. This is reprehensible. This leaves every single child in this country at risk, now that we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that those in charge of safeguarding do not in fact understand safeguarding themselves. There is no compromise to be had between child protection & child abuse. Good grief, what irresponsible rubbish by @MForstater This guidance is not a step forward in any sense. It is actually the first time govt has given schools formal permission to ‘socially transition’ children in schools - meaning accept their name, pronoun and clothing changes, so as to assist them in pretending to be the opposite sex. The fact that single sex spaces and activities will now be preserved is hardly worth celebrating when the govt is overtly permitting teachers to make profound psychological interventions that can help lead children onto harmful drugs, maybe even surgery as a young adult. That this permission is to be entrenched in the statutory safeguarding guidance makes this proposal even worse, since it starts to corrupt all the sound safeguarding advice that ought to prohibit this cultish nonsense taking place in schools at all. @SexMattersOrg you are just plain wrong about this and children will suffer because of it.
