India is not a poor country. The situation right now is because many people still believe in blind faith and superstition. If I was in power, I would take strict action so people learn a lesson. Being polite and explaining nicely has not worked for everyone. Some people just don’t understand. And if you say anything, they bring religion into it and try to shut you down. But now it has gone too far. So much milk and money is getting wasted. And I know some people will say, “Why do you only talk about Hindus? What about Muslims during Bakrid when goats are sacrificed?” I never supported that either. That is also wrong, just like this is wrong. Also, nowhere in Hindu religion does it say to pour so much milk into rivers and spoil the water. If that same milk was given to poor people, it would actually help someone.

She does not seem in any hurry or even bothered to work like an MLA. She represents a pattern seen in majority of BJP MLAs and MPs, who may be replaced after one election.
