Hi all, sorry for my absence. After months of steady progress, Mum got really sick unexpectedly and things have been very hard. No hospitalisation this time but that was only because we have an oxygen machine at home now and I could nurse her. The paramedics were out 3 times. It has been scary, sad, and absolutely exhausting. Physically, mentally, and emotionally. I just couldn't deal with all the horrors here. The very first story I saw today was about sexual abuse and I am crying already. Mum is improving but the infection is not yet cleared and all her progress has been undone. It is horribly unfairly on her, she had been doing so well, was excited for her rehab course and to be driving again, and a stupid error by the NHS caused this.
