@ParsonsFiction Bacon blew me away in this! I need to read some Matheson, so many people have said how good his writing is.

It's only taken me 27 years to watch this film. It was very much worth the wait. Wow. Some echoes of The Sixth Sense & The Shining, But very much it's own man. Interested to read the novel it was adapted from now! 💿📺

@CeeChampion I finally read I Am Legend a year or so back. He was a key figure in the change and progress of horror/scifi fiction of his time, into the '60s onward. Maybe the ideas, his perspective. Also wrote for Twilight Zone.

@CeeChampion Seems the original Richard Matheson story is good, but that would be expected. Fantastic author, would often twist a story a few times. Good Bacon performance too.

@ParsonsFiction Thats the general consensus! I love how it has the spooky stuff but then twists into a murder/mystery.
