Officially halfway through maternity leave (6wks). How do women return to work at this point or even earlier??? My body is still healing. Showers are rare, meals eaten cold, sleep not happening. What we do to postpartum women in the US is insane & inhumane.

DYK patients with high blood pressure issues during #pregnancy AND those with no prior #hypertension can develop #preeclampsia after the #birth ?! Consider a #bloodpressure cuff on your #babyshower registry. Not as cute as a onesie, but might be lifesaving 💙

Are there any hospitals out there that have a psychologist integrated into OB/maternal fetal medicine? After going through pregnancy, labor, and delivery, I can think of several points where mental healthcare would be beneficial to all patients through the process. /1
