I worked on a video editing tool a few years ago, and I’d say this is much harder than what vibe coding can handle well right now. Video editing is not just UI and logic. You are dealing with decoding video frames in different formats, processing them fast enough for real time preview, rendering edits back into frames, syncing audio, and moving a lot of data efficiently between CPU and GPU. It is heavily performance sensitive and concurrency heavy work, so it is very real engineering
