I left my job and apartment. It’s time to live. 2026 is the year to build my business, body, and mind. Just two days ago, I made my first App Store dollars too! 🥳 I’m going to post and document everything here on X. Big shoutout to @levelsio and @robj3d3 for motivating the fuck out of me. Stay tuned!

Nvidia just posted a net income of 58 Billion for the last Quarter. That's 1 Mercedes or Volkswagen every Quarter in profit.

Dear Da Nang, Thanks for all the insane memories and new friends. These past 3 months have felt like 2 years of knowing some of these people. It’s going to take some adjustment for a few weeks for sure. But feeling very grateful for this experience. Next stop: Thailand. 👋

@PascalLindenau Berlin vibes in Bali sounds like a recipe for a productive cafe session. I'm shipping AI video tools myself, but thinking of just building AbsoluteCinema, a full-on generated video suite. What's the new app for?

@itsolelehmann IMO it’s not about who builds the most humanoids rn they are pretty useless rn. It’s about who manages to make the first real smart one that can actually do work humans would do.

Am I missing something?? I just found out Unitree is about to IPO in China at just a $7B valuation. This seems dirt cheap. For context, they are literally the only profitable humanoid robotics company on earth right now. And this will be the largest humanoid robotics IPO ever attempted. Look at their actual business: > 5,500 humanoid robots shipped last year > $235M in revenue (+335% YoY) > $90M in profit (+674% YoY) This is the first time anyone in humanoid robotics has been profitable at this scale. Now compare that with the rest of the humanoid field... UBTech ran the world's first humanoid IPO back in 2023 on the Hong Kong exchange. It trades at $7.1B (just above the market cap Unitree is filing at). Difference is UBTech shipped 1,079 humanoids and lost $100M last year. Unitree shipped 5,500 and made $90M. Boston Dynamics has been around 30+ years without turning a profit. Tesla Optimus is prototype-only. 1X and Agility Robotics are both still pre-profit. Figure AI, the most-funded American humanoid company, raised at a $39B valuation last year. And they're still pre-revenue. And Unitree filed at $7B with $90M+ in actual profit. The profitable Chinese leader is being priced at less than one-fifth of an unprofitable American competitor. And on top of all that...Western humanoids are still trying to break $30K per unit. Unitree's cheapest humanoid retails for $4,290. So yeah $7B seems dirt cheap. But I guess we'll find out soon.
SciTech Era@SciTechera

cool Unitree CEO Wang Xingxing and his robotics army of G1s. These are designed for mass production at a starting price of roughly US$16,000. This is just a beginning of an exponential era!

7 months might look like not a lot, but so much in my life has changed in that time. I started my journey to southeast asia scared: > will i be financially sufficient to survive > will i get in trouble and many other questions, yet, kind of everything solved itself. and in those 7 months i managed to do so much. 1. Travelling Travelled to KL, Da Nang, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, Pattaya, Ko Lan, HCMC, Ha Giang honestly, i never thought that i could see such beautiful sights in my life, yet here i am, forever grateful for that. Of course, i was also shitty situations but thats part of the journey haha I managed to experience this together with a bunch of new friends. Which speaking of which... 2. New people. I met so many inspiring people, and i've had so many amazing experiences with them. I still remember screaming my lungs out in the water park @martinrue organized I remember collecting steps on @andi_losing (literally had to go for a run to unlock my phone wtf andi) I remember @yeonjidev helping my with korean language on my app I remember cracking hella jokes with @jogicodes and greg I remember @AntonioEscudero literally going from 1k to 20k in real time, and him debugging his service in real time 😂 I remember @offpaths literally overthinking one tweet for probably an hour hahah together w @martinrue and @chrissyinspace there's so many people i met,and so many things i learned from them here, but the whole post would be filled with @ tags for them, but you know who you are, and i love yall 3. Launched an app When i came to Thailand, i launched my app, BlitzCut, which grew from literal zero to almost four thousand downloads. and close to 4k in revenue overall. I've learned so much along the way, and i'll lock in even more to finally get to that 1k/mo target. (im very close to it rn) Overall, top 1 experience in life, and im hopefully im repeating it soon. p.s. where should i go next? :)

it appears that hrg isn't doing another batch this year, so i'd be down to organize a hacker house! the killah that is @mizoearth said he's already in rough parameters would be: > one month around september / october time > either in koh phangan or somewhere in vietnam (open to suggestions) > expect to pay +- $1k in rent for the month (additional costs are equally shared between everyone) > yes you're allowed to bring your partner size of the villa would be dependent on the number of interested folks, so everyone who is please either message here or dm me - i'll create a whatsapp group after
Vik@onlinedopamine

the number one question i get about the founder house i hosted was whether i would do it again the answer is YES - but with a caveat: with the next one i organize, every participant will have to pay for their share of the accommodation sooooooo.... i am thinking of doing the next one, again for a month, in koh phangan, thailand spent 5 days there recently, thought it was super dope has all the perks of bali (big nomad community, serene beaches, island life, etc) without the downsides (largely around traffic and trash burning) would love to rent a villa that can house between four to six people you should be willing to spend between $1k - $2k for the rent would probably do this towards the end of this or beginning of next year if anyone is down to join, please comment here and/or DM me i'll organize a whatsapp group with everyone who is interested, then we can search together to find something suitable

I feel this too. Spent 7 years to build an audience here and my posts now get 1-2k impressions. I know I don’t have the best posts and I’m not trying to play the algorithm game anymore. I just post things from my life - the same way I used to do for years to grow my audience. I still enjoy engaging with others and hope that one day the algorithm is going to make sense again.
David Zorkocy@GayRepublicSwag

SADNESS! I might be leaving X. It has never been less fun to be a content creator on this platform. I’ve been posting regularly on Twitter/X since around 2010. The algorithm is insane. Spend years building a following? Yeah that doesn’t matter. Very few of your posts will ever actually be seen by your followers. The fact that my posts regularly have a 15 to 20% engagement rate but never get boosted into the For You is wild. I have 231,000 followers yet my posts start at 200 views and rarely pass 1,000. What? That’s actually crazy. The only way to be seen is to engagement farm and I don’t want to do that. I used to be able to make posts and those posts would be seen by people who clicked follow. It was a good time. Now there are a handful of blessed accounts that go viral every time they post because the algorithm has decided they will. Everyone else on the platform? Stinks to be you. I’m tired of playing the game. I have spent MONTHS trying to learn everything about the algorithm and create content that will perform well and it just doesn’t. There is a social credit score on this app and because I have been creating content for YEARS I have accumulated many blocks and mutes. So the algorithm has decided my account is not good and so I’m not allowed to be seen by the general population of X. I remember being so excited when @elonmusk purchased X but the introduction of AI into the algorithm has made it so bad that it’s a waste of my time. I actually wish I could get back the hours of life I’ve spent trying to learn the algorithm because none of it mattered. I’ll be on Facebook and Instagram if you need me. I’ll check back in down the road to see if the algorithm gets better and the site again becomes worth my time.

If I'm paying $200/mo for Claude Code and consistently use LESS than my allowance, I shouldn't be charged $100 in overages if I accidentally exceed it one time in the last 24 hours of the month.
