I think it’s because they haven’t really ‘pivoted.’
The goal has always been to offer a solution that goes beyond pixels and attribution.
Bryan Cano@BryanECano
I don’t think the DTC community has realized that TripleWhale has effectively pivoted from being a pixel & attribution platform.

@PascalZeMarshal Some ecom will become useless with AI, but AI won’t kill ecom.

@TaylorHoliday @Seanfrank @iamshackelford @Jaredorkin @stevenborrelli @SJohnson_89 Haha wtf guys. Amazing acting skills! Now I want to learn more.

More isn't always better.
Better is better.
Forecast more accurately, grow contribution more consistently all while saving money with the Prophit Engine from CTC.
Big love to the boys: @Seanfrank @iamshackelford @Jaredorkin @stevenborrelli @steviej @SJohnson_89 for the acting brilliance.
This one is a love letter to the DTC x community.

@DalyDee___ Besides automation, can they actually compete and own brands?
English

@PascalZeMarshal AI can't take Ecom brands away but it can help automate some tasks make the work easier
English

@brock_mammoser Profit?
Nahhh, trying to avoid that at all costs

"You did $80M in revenue... but were you profitable?"
I get this question all the time
And honestly, it's the dumbest question in the world
Do you think my brothers and I are building a bootstrapped business just for fun?
We don't have VC funding
We're not building for some crazy exit
We are building this to make money
The entire goal is profit
We shoot for a 15-20% profit margin
That's a healthy spot that allows us to keep growing while generating real cash flow
So yes, we are profitable
And I share these numbers to help other founders who are in the same shoes I was

@KodyNordquist Customer service that saves the sale, not just responds

A few things that are actually worth the money (for DTC operators):
• A founder who will record videos
• Knowing contribution margin before opening Ads Manager
• A creative producer you can text at 9 am and have content ASAP
• Raw over studio, every time
• A media buyer who tells you to pause before they tell you to scale
• Flex Ads running while you sleep
• An offer actually worth advertising
• A bookkeeper who's seen a Meta P&L before
• Email flows built past the week you launched
• Honest feedback from someone managing more spend than you
• A Shopify dev you can actually get on the phone with
• Your break-even ROAS calculated before Q4, not during it
• A peer who's two years ahead of you, not a course about it
• Cash flow model for when ad spend hits, not just when revenue does
• Killing a creative that's not working before it kills your account
What would you add?

@noahkagan It's more corporate and more "professional" which is why people are nicer compared to X.
English

Hot take - LinkedIn is for nice people.
Not saying that's always best but the community here shocks me with how critical they are of... everything.
Garry Tan makes some skills and instead of talking about it, people just bash it.
Company launches some CMO AI thing - all posts I saw were shitting all over it.
Meanwhile on LinkedIn the comments and replies are all surprisingly encouraging.

@alexcloudstar Costs are rising for the next inventory orders, so we’re factoring that in.. but overall progress is solid and strategy remains intact.
English

@PascalZeMarshal How's this impacting your timeline or strategy?? 👀
English

We quickly recovered from Meta's quarterly show, but as for the geopolitical tensions, the impact is already showing.
Manufacturers already mentioned that the next order of inventory will be more expensive for several products.
Making good progress regardless!
