@RachelJWillie Welcome to my version of the UK, where it took nearly two years, 80+ pages of forms, a test, a certification that my Oxford DPhil in English Lit was 'taught' in English, and an MP's and immigration lawyer's intervention to be granted citizenship after 20+ years of paying taxes.

@Lubaabanama @NewIndianXpress I read it avidly over a couple of weeks, and it was an eye-opener. Brilliant little jawdropping details that I read out to whoever happened to be with me - even my dad learned something from this book! A joy to read.
