A successful first full day in Switzerland. Lots of tuckered out students (and teachers!). And another exciting day of tours tomorrow!

As teachers, we help support our students to be the best version of themselves. We also trash talked them when we were the first group to complete our robot!

It may have been a very late night to get here, but waking up to this view makes things all the more worth it!

After my little tumble yesterday my leg is a bit swollen. Just been through the scanner at Gatwick security and they had to pat down the same part of my leg. Kind of proud that I fell over hard enough to be a potential flight risk!!

Tomorrow is the start of my first ever CERN trip with year 10s. Pretty much everything that could go wrong in the planning has gone wrong, and today I absolutely stacked it at school so I’m covered in bruises. Hopefully that’s all the bad luck done and we can have a nice trip?

Can we take a moment to appreciate some of the diagrams I’ve drawn in the revision sessions the last few days?!

It’s time for the return of the review series no one asked for - welcome back to Brownie Review 2025! We start this season with a strong contender this season. The @isaacphysics and @TheBPhO Question Writing CPD has put on a lunch with the gooiest chocolate brownies. 10/10!

Been making a slide for my revision session next week for too long. The word "earth" looks wrong and has no meaning any more!

Got to cross off "having to explain to my grandparents (again) that I still occasionally go into work in the holiday to catch up" of my Teacher-School-Holiday-Bingo-Card this afternoon!

Such a lovely weekend! Cosy video games, school trip to the theatre, strongwoman session at the gym (I pulled a 2 tonne jeep!), and an afternoon with my mummy. It’s the perfect start to the Easter holidays - only issue is the one week of school we have left!

I did enjoy getting to write this post it note!

Celebrated pi day in school with some lunchtime pi-endulum fun! I wasn’t allowed to order enough pies to calculate pi using another of @standupmaths’ methods!

10LPA is World Book Day ready!

Two boys who I do not teach just walked past me, said “morning Miss”, AND smiled at me. What is this witchcraft? I don’t like it!

Bye bye CERN! You’ve been amazing.

Only just got to go down into the cavern where CMS lives. I’m such a lucky bugger!
