Soon, Roblox will no longer require a Plus/Premium subscription to publish new games for all ages. Instead, once your game has completed the evaluation process, you can pay a one-time fee of 1,000 Robux per game. This fee will be refunded to you after three months unless the game gets moderated or taken down. If you've had a Plus/Premium subscription for 2 consecutive months, you won't have to pay this fee as a benefit of your subscription. Previously published games will not be affected, and will remain published for free. This update will be released on May 19 for New Zealand, the Netherlands, Australia, and Indonesia. It will be rolled out globally in June.

🚨ROBLOX FORSAKEN IS GETTING SUED.. What happened? In June 2025, Peter Innes voluntarily transferred full ownership of Forsaken to Adams and Balboa under a detailed written Transfer Agreement (Exhibit A to the complaint). The deal gave Innes $350,000 upfront cash + a 40% ongoing revenue share. He kept control of one Roblox financial account (the “Spectre Account”) and specifically structured everything so his parents wouldn’t find out he had sold the game (even though he was 18+). Adams and Balboa took over all operations, developer payments, and management. The game then exploded to over 1 million concurrent players, one of Roblox’s biggest titles. Innes later regretted the sale (allegedly after his parents found out). He started: Disparaging Adams and Balboa publicly (telling third parties he “despises” them and claiming they “lied for months”). Leaking the confidential deal terms (including the revenue split) to his ex-girlfriend and on Twitter (forsakenburner). Refusing to cooperate on account transfers and 2FA. Asking Roblox to freeze the Spectre Account and block transfers. The lawsuit (4 counts):Declaratory Judgment, Court should declare the Transfer Agreement (and the later “Chance Amendment” for the “Chance” plush deal) is fully valid and enforceable, and that Adams/Balboa did not breach it. & 3. Breach of Contract – Violations of the perpetual non-disparagement and confidentiality clauses (each breach triggers $50,000 liquidated damages + injunction). Breach of Cooperation Clause (Section 8(b)) – Innes refused to help with Roblox account transfers and actively interfered. Plaintiffs want specific performance: a court order forcing him to retract the freeze request and cooperate. What they’re asking for: Confirmation they own Forsaken outright. At least $100,000+ in liquidated damages (more if discovery finds extra breaches). Permanent injunction against further leaks or disparagement. Specific performance on all cooperation obligations. Attorneys’ fees (per the contract), interest, and anything else the court thinks is fair. SUMMARY: This is not a copyright or “stolen game” lawsuit. It’s a contract dispute. The original dev sold his massively successful Roblox game, took the money, then tried to claw it back and badmouth the new owners when he changed his mind. Adams and Balboa are asking the court to enforce the deal they signed and stop the interference. This is going to be interesting for anyone who plays or develops on Roblox, it shows how seriously these ownership transfer agreements are being treated.

@Roblox this is a great change. especially because you get refunded afterwards. although I don't really see this stopping any brainrot games. maybe if it were 30 dollars per game but 10 is simply too cheap especially when you take into account how much they'll make from said game.
