Whilst we are pleased with the ICJ outcome, it needs to be heeded so that we see and end to the slaughter that the people of Palestine are being subjected to. As more and more countries, world leaders and ordinary people recognise the importance and significance of the action we took, South Africa continues to be seen as the standard bearer for the protection of the rights of ordinary people who are subjected to a genocide.
