Good for Marner for finally being clutch in his 10th playoff run, however:
-chose to leave, Leafs offered big money to stay
-9 chances in Toronto to do this
-same people saying he wasn't a problem forgot past tweets are searchable
-Utah + Anaheim are not Florida, Tampa, Boston

@joeyferg Only way I can see him being a viable option is if they totally rework the bottom 6 and D. His systems rely on fast exits from the defense which may be their worst attribute with this roster.

Why would anybody want this job now ? You have gone thru numerous good coaches . Team sucks now . This is not a desirable job . Its the players . not the coaches . babcock is too mean . keefe is too soft . beruebe is too mean . it goes in circles #NHL

I read all week from respected insiders that Craig Berube would more than likely be back next season. The same people that are saying they get the feeling Matthews is uncertain he wants to stay in Toronto and I’m told trust.
