After 15 years, I pastor a church with 75 members with an annual budget of $103,000. Pastors, let no one measure the significance of your ministry based on the amount of people and money in your church.

Many pastors assume when they face adversaries in their ministry, that it is a sign something’s wrong and they are in the wrong place. What if it’s the opposite? What if the presence of adversaries is a sign that you are exactly where God sent you and it’s a sign to stay?

Just because God‘s word is powerful, does not mean it acts quickly. The design of God seems to be the ministry of the word is a slow, subtle, and hidden work through the patient, steady work of a faithful pastor. Pastors, remain steadfast. God works often where you can’t see it.
