If every pastor sat at the feet of an older pastor to learn, and invested in a younger pastor to teach, then many pastors would be in a much healthier place. The loneliness and isolation of many pastors is very real.

When we frame salvation as us welcoming Jesus into our hearts, it can subtly distort how we understand our relationship with Him. The beauty and wonder of the gospel is that Jesus welcomed us, adopted us, and hid us securely in Himself.

The responsibility to train, affirm, and send out pastors and missionaries around the world is not seminaries, bible colleges, or missions organizations. It is the local church to be led by the pastors of local churches.
