Peacock's 23 million viewership number for the NFL game is misleading, as it also includes people in Kansas City and Miami who watched it on TV.
The real number we need to know is how many people are still signed up a month from now.
Then, we can gauge the return on investment.
@RealSkipBayless Doesn’t matter Skip. Cowboys weren’t going to win the division anyway and they clinched a playoff spot today. This week and the next 3 don’t even matter IMO.
@flushingitgolf These players knew exactly what they were putting at risk when they decided to join LIV. Could have still made plenty of money on the PGAT while also meeting the qualification criteria for the majors and OWGR. They are not entitled to anything.
Despite winning LIV’s season long title race and winning 3 times, Talor Gooch is currently exempt into 0 majors next year. ZERO. That’s madness to me and needs to change. Forget the nonsense OWGR and just offer direct spots based on tournament and order of merit finishes instead. The majors should have the strongest fields in golf regardless of where players play their golf.
@PhilMickelson@benj0hnston@TrevorImmelman Phil, what is your prediction in the long run? Does LIV get OWGR points eventually or do the majors develop a qualification criteria for LIV players?
@benj0hnston@TrevorImmelman Nope. That’s just their public excuse so they can protect each. A lot of people believe it too 😂
Can’t blame them though cuz people like you simply don’t have all the facts. That’s why I’m sharing them with you now. You’re welcome.
If I were going to start a pro golf tour, and I decided that I wanted my tour to have world ranking points available for the players, I’d probably at the outset make sure that my tour did whatever the world ranking organization required in order to comply.
I still can't believe this player wasn't ejected.
We see players kicked out for seemingly normal football plays every week, and this was a blatant cheap shot.
Even worse, Travis Hunter will now miss games against Oregon & USC.
Big miss by the refs IMO.
@sharkwinger@GolfDigest I played 4 pga tour sanctioned events this year, have not resigned my membership. I’m suspended, but still active. So there’s that 😎
@Mike_kim714 Yea teeing off from that angle would make it almost impossible to cross at the red dot. The cheating recently though was a flat out lie from what I read. No penalties or hazards involved just made double bogey and have himself a par lol.
The cheating story this week made me remember the closest thing to cheating I personally dealt with at an event…
The pro I was playing with hit his shot (started at the yellow dot where the pin was and HOOKED) into the green circle if not more left. He wanted to drop at the red dot and I said I don’t agree at all. After 10min of talking about it I said look man, I don’t think it crossed up there but it’s your call at the end of the day and I went to play my shot.
He takes the drop at the red dot and gets up and down for bogey.
I refused to sign his scorecard and a scoring official had to sign for his score.
What made it feel worse is that we tied at the end of the event🙄🤷🏻♂️
@Graeme_McDowell Yes personally I like when bunkers are penal because it forces you to play them almost as if they are water hazards. Can’t take a chance on being against the face or else you’re giving up a stroke.
Links bunkers my favorite by far. Beautiful to look at and viciously penal. There’s definitely a slight element of luck regards where the ball lies. Can have a straight forward shot or absolutely nothing.
@PSWinks@GOLF_com I believe OB is stroke and distance so only 1 penalty stroke but you have to replay from the same spot (or close to same spot). As opposed to water where you can drop up where the call entered.
Nearly every LIV tournament produces a Major Championship level leaderboard.
7 Major Championship winners in the top 16 at London. Professional golf doesn’t get much better than that.
