Let’s stop pretending this is normal. A sitting Premier threatening a woman for running for mayor? That’s not politics that’s threatening and intimidation. Doug Ford has gone full Trump-style, and somehow people are just… letting it slide. Where are the women’s rights groups now? Where’s the outrage? He has four daughters. Would he be okay with someone in power trying to bully them out of public life? This is exactly how you silence women. And it should scare everyone.

Ori Solomon, an Israeli on a non-immigrant visa, was arrested in connection with an illegal biolab containing dangerous and infectious diseases operated by a Chinese national renting his property. Solomon, for his part, isn’t allowed to own firearms, but was arrested with possession of multiple firearms. He was released without posting bail, despite possessing French and Israeli passports.
