With a week to reflect, I’m convinced this was the greatest moment in sports history. A 2-star recruit leads the worst program ever to a national championship, beats his hometown team that wouldn’t let him walk on, and finishes it by running over the same guy who knocked him out the year before, with his mother battling MS watching from the stands. If it was a Disney movie, you’d say it was too much.

Great pickup for the Royals. Tyriq Kemp is the most athletic SS I saw in college baseball last season. He has sneaky pop, too! One of the biggest turnarounds I’ve seen at the D1 level. Bright future ahead at the next level!

Every athlete has their own individual journey. My best advice is to select the school were you are genuinely wanted, and have the opportunity to grow & thrive. My son, @Josh_Cameron34, was a ZERO star coming out of HS. He walked on at Baylor & stayed the course because it was truly the best fit for him. Once he worked his way into the rotation, he had several opportunities to leave for a 💰. However, money can't buy purpose, growth or happiness. Now, my ZERO star athlete is being mentioned as a "possible" top 10 WR draft pick. He knows there's still lots of work to do, but he also knows that he's at the right place, at the right time.
