Finance sector accounts on X are so muted. Why is it treated in this way? I have a 70k following and sometimes see less than 1k on a post. It never used to be like this. It makes me feel like my voice has no value here and that maybe I should focus my time elsewhere. Why is X suppressing this niche?

@cdntradegrljenn @LadeBackk I barely come here recently. Fintwit is full of clout chasers for the most part. Almost no original thoughts. I also think this platform ratcheted up the toxicity level.

McDonald's. 11am on a Thursday. Me: Can I get four cheeseburgers, extra bacon, no bun, no ketchup, no mustard, no onion, no pickle. Cashier: So just the patties, cheese, and bacon. Me: Just the patties, cheese, and bacon. Cashier: Four of them. Me: Four of them. Cashier: [types it in] That comes up as four cheeseburgers with modifications. Me: Perfect. Cashier: The bun is included in the price. Me: That's fine. Cashier: You're paying for buns you're not getting. Me: I'm aware. Cashier: [a pause] Okay. The bag arrived. Four cardboard boxes, each containing two patties, a slice of cheese, a rash of bacon, sitting in the approximate location where a bun would normally be, surrounded by nothing. It was perfect. It was exactly what I asked for.

This. All day.

You can’t outwork me. I’ve been humbled by failure too many times to fear it now. I don’t care about teams, followers, status, or noise. None of that means dick to me. Tired of seeing people pay to lose.

I would venture a guess that if @timkaine actually listened to his constituents in VA rather than that sweet Soros money, he would see his party is causing a LOT of pressure.
