Do Republicans support requiring a national gun owner ID for all those who wish to own a gun? How about we require everyone who wants to own a gun to register for a special ID that you must have while owning and possessing the gun. Anyone who does not have this ID or does not renew this ID would not legally be permitted to own a gun, and would face massive penalties. Acquiring the ID would require you to wait in line at the county clerks of courts office and provide proof of residency, a birth certificate, proof of citizenship, a full background check, and your gun ownership history, as well as other personal identification (like a Social Security number). If you move homes, you would be required to change your address immediately or you would get arrested for illegally owning a gun. What do all of the pro-voter-ID people think about this?

BREAKING: Gov. Ron DeSantis has just signed a bill blocking kids from social media websites. House Bill 3 forbids kids 13 and younger from creating social media accounts and requires the platforms to seek out and remove their profiles. Call me crazy but I thought that Republicans were for "Parental rights", and was the party of "little government". I thought they were for "First Amendment rights". I'm against this new law because Parents should decide what's best for their kids, not politicians.

We will never meaningfully reduce the rate of gun violence in the United States until we significantly reduce the number of firearms in circulation. It doesn’t mean we ever could or would take them away. We just need to make guns uncool and gross the way we did with cigarettes.

No one NEEDS an AR-15. If you can’t protect your home and family with handguns and shotguns, you’re doing it wrong. Just admit it 2A advocates… You don’t care enough about kids being shot in the face during science class to make concessions on gun laws and owning an AR-15.
