Holmdel had not won a divisional title since 2007 before it won one in 2018 and had recorded one playoff win in five playoff appearances in its history before Rainess' tenure. Holmdel went 9-1 last season.

After a tough 2-1 loss to Jackson Memorial in the Group IV state semi final game, our season has come to an end. I finished the season with 22.2IN, 11H, 16K, 67% Strike Percentage, with a 1.24 ERA, 0.882 WHIP, and 0.138 Batting Average Against.
Tough round one win. 1-0 over Montgomery. Shaffer complete game 2 hitter, 13ks. Silva two hits. Ghibesi, Johnson and Pecoraro one hit each. Nick Marcello (Pinch runner) took home on a passed ball with a perfect head first slide that narrowly avoided the tag. @smfalk @Matt_Manley
It was an honor to be the guest of our senior AJ Mucciolo this weekend. AJ was awarded the male Shore Conference Sportsmanship recipient of Manalapan. I’ve had the pleasure to coach AJ in football and lax. AJ also wrestled as well. Well deserved!
