@SteveElsass Was upset then just like now. I also understand economics is a little more complicated than blaming one party or policy. This is also a dumb argument. 4 years ago is not now and it was not self inflicted.

@AndrewAzlan @calisurfsup Being that we do not have a universal system and would be building one, yes it is. You are saying we cannot come up with a plan that we can transition to from where we are currently?

I pay $1,138.00 per month for my wife and I with a $6,000. deductible each, $10,000 max out of pocket per year means we pay $23,000 before insurance kicks in. This is not insurance. It's a rip off.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?

@AndrewAzlan @calisurfsup Meaning not all centralized or universal health plans are the same. That it is actually possible to create one from scratch to avoid the issues other systems may have.

@AndrewAzlan @calisurfsup Well being that we have a clean slate and can legislate it to avoid that makes that pointless. Canada's main issue when they implemented their system there were not enough doctors and nurses to cover which caused waits. We can actually build one to avoid all that.

@AndrewAzlan @calisurfsup It could be clickbait and I get that perspective. There are just far better ways to do this that can provide better care for everyone and reduce the overall annual out of pocket cost. I love America, but our healthcare insurance system sucks.

@PatOksu02 @calisurfsup Yea, but not all of it while you wait for insurance to start paying. Your $30 copay for an urgent care visit counts towards it, as do all other co-pays. So it’s a dishonest post that follows the standard “poor me” post that is just clickbait.

@Mugclubber_OG @AGHamilton29 It's a free fucking county with free fucking speech. Both sides are allowed to voice support or non support for what is happening in this country no matter what their profession. Don't like it, ignore it you sensitive fucking snowflake.

On the Jaxson Dart thing: We need consistency. If you believe athletes should keep their political views to themselves, then that's fine. But you can't reasonably cheer athletes supporting Dem pols/causes while also claiming publicly supporting Republicans/Trump is divisive.

@calisurfsup No, it means you have co-pays up to 23k before insurance starts to cover everything, beside wellness visits and basic care, which are mostly covered 100%. You know this, but you’re just being dishonest because it helps you get clicks.

@ChefMatthew1326 @historigins The subsequent economic downturn was largely due to the popping of the dot-com bubble and the aftermath of nine-eleven, not a faked federal budget. But hey let's create some b.s. conspiracy crap to muddy something that was positive. Both parties have had good and bad policies.

@ChefMatthew1326 @historigins The surplus was very real, with the U.S. running four consecutive unified budget surpluses from 1998 to 2001. Corporate fraud like Enron and WorldCom certainly came to light later on, Enron didn't file for bankruptcy until December 2001. 1/2

In 1998, the United States achieved its first federal budget surplus in 29 years, effectively ending a streak of deficits that had lasted since 1969. This milestone was achieved under President Bill Clinton, following the passage of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, which resulted in a fiscal surplus of approximately $69 billion for that year.

@PatOksu02 @grandmabear44 Oh my god! If you are not tracking illegal voters and you are giving them licenses there is no proof. That is why federal is requiring real idea at the airport, you have to prove you are a citizen or at least sign a statement saying you are a citizen. Please leave me alone.

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 Like if you wanted to steal an election, this would be the dumbest and messiest way to do it and not get caught. Also a huge waste of money, which even bad people do not like to do. It's illogical.

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 Show me proof. How do they get in voter rolls to even vote in the first place? How are they even registered to vote? I am open minded and am literally begging, please, show me some actual verifiable proof.

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 There aren't tons of illegals voting for Dems. That is conspiracy b.s. Outside of being a U.S citizen and not committing a felony crime, you get to vote. Whether I agree with how you legally conduct yourself plays no role in voting. Every one of the people's voices gets heard.

@PatOksu02 @grandmabear44 If you are voting as an illegal, you are voting for the Democratic Party. If you vote, I want people that have skin in the game. I want an even playing field. I don’t want people that are just taking and not adding to society. It is self evident.

@leeman_damon @Christi93059806 @grandmabear44 So where are all these illegals that voted? Where is the actual evidence? You hold all three branches of government and not one slice of actual evidence outside of some illogical propaganda conspiracy B.S. No Federal charges, no local charges, nothing real.

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 How so? You provide that statement but provide no value to the conversation. Your point is based on a personal truth that millions of illegals are voting and I as a Democrat want that. Neither of those are objective truths.

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 Never said anything about non citizens (I was supporting voter ID), and your opinion on someone's financial situation or IQ or any of that should never disqualify them from voting in a free society. Voting is a right not a privilege.

@PatOksu02 @grandmabear44 A better system requires US citizens only to vote. Right now that is not happening in blue states. I’m fine with a voter holiday. If you can’t afford $10 for an ID you’re an idiot and shouldn’t be voting. Old talking point that is proven bs.

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 Real common sense is using tax dollars to fund free voter IDs for all, fraud-proofing mail-in ballots instead of banning them, and making Election Day a national holiday so every eligible citizen has the opportunity to vote. (2/2)

@leeman_damon @grandmabear44 True common sense isn't blindly supporting a bill because of political fear-mongering. We can absolutely make our elections safer and more secure without actively making it harder for everyday American citizens to cast a ballot. (1/2)

@CzarOfLiberty @MultiMillionD10 @Best4Liberty Article 11 of the Treaty literally states "As the government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion". We are not a Christian nation, we are a nation where you are free to be Christian. There is a profound difference.

It did not declare we are not a Christian nation. You did not read the treaty of tripoli. It simply says the government is not founded on any religion. Entirely different of the people. Again, “many people of the Christian faith” is being downplayed, a majority of people are of the Christian faith. Therefore making the country Christian.
