@denkmit I said at the time he was lucky not to break his leg or do an ACL when it hit the ground. The slow motion did that no justice as that was a very fast accident.

Watching replays of Marc's crash, he had his right foot down flat track style when the bike snapped. No wonder he's barely able to walk - could be ankle or could be knee pain

@ducaticorse @marcmarquez93 He was very lucky not to break a leg when his foot hit the ground just before he was catapulted into the air. I bet time stood still for him during that crash. Horrible accident.

UPDATE ON #MM93 ➡️Following the crash during the SPRINT at #FrenchGP and after a medical check and X-ray @marcmarquez93 was declared unfit for a 5th metatarsal fracture in his right foot. ➡️He will fly to Madrid tonight to undergo surgery. He will not participate in #CatalanGP

@Nick_Metcalfe There might be a TV rights issue with putting it on BBC1. You can watch it in a lot of places abroad where you can’t get BBC2 and with it being on TNT etc or what was Eurosport it might cause a few issues. Perhaps I’m wrong with that

There was a time I would have dismissed that out of hand. But with numbers like this, I’m not totally sure now. I wonder if the BBC would ever consider putting the climax of the world snooker final on BBC One.

@Barnspaul31 John Higgins in 2019 was very good. Just Trump was unstoppable that year. The match wasn’t close in the end but Higgins had some great scoring over the 2 days.

@swanabi I feel there is a very simple solution. When you have your ticket scanned as you enter the venue it gets put into one of those pouches with it turned off. You can only go to a designated place in the venue to get it unlocked and have to scan your ticket to get in and out.

Since I started going to snooker with a mobile, I've been terrified of my phone going off inside the arena. I used to take the battery out when that was a thing, now check it about 52 times before a session to make sure it's on silent... I don't get why you wouldn't be like that?

@WPBSAofficial after seeing the Wu Yize v Mark Allen frame today I feel that there should be a rule change for re-racks. Only the reds remaining should be re-racked and the players should keep the points they’ve accumulated in the frame. Thoughts @kendoherty1997 @SHendry775

@denkmit I can’t remember many GP wildcards apart from Dani recently who did well. Replacement riders like Bayliss yes in Valencia around 20 years ago. But I do remember when the BSB lads use to wildcard at the WSBK round in the early 2000s and they use to always be very competitive

Challenge: without looking it up, name one wildcard race performance that was amazing

@MotoGP You’ve given no consideration to people who would have already booked to go to Portimao or Valencia on the original dates. Why didn’t you just leave these as they were and put Qatar at the end of the season if it’s safe to go. Disgusting decision.
