@fOx1257067 ....ironic, considering women have had dildo parties and smut books etc for decades. Men deciding they'd rather have the fantasy than the bill is now...."upsetting". They picked the bear. Not us.

Just watched an advertisement for grown men wearing VR headsets while a machine strapped around their waist simulates intercourse so they can pretend they’re having a relationship with a women. Read that again slowly.👆 We have officially reached the point where some people would rather plug themselves into a fantasy than learn how to be intimate with an actual woman. The fact that this is being marketed as “innovation” is one of the bleakest things I’ve ever seen. How did this become normalized… and why are so many people acting like this isn’t completely dystopian?

@learning_yohei English is not "one" language; Americans, the UK, Australians, New Zealand, Canadians, and a whole host of others speak "English" Additionally; English is the bastard child of Latin, French, Spanish, Italian, German, and Greek. So many words are "borrowed" from other languages

@dhwrd11 @james_xond Columbine turns schools to prisons. Schools that are prisons -> zero tolerance policies. Zero tolerance policies -> No Child Left Behind. NCLB -> incapable of teaching or discipline. Incapable teachers -> inmates run the asylum. Inmates run the asylum -> "SIX SEVEN SIX SEVEN"

@james_xond The first time trump was elected. People started openly being hostile and racist. They saw one of the worlds most horrible human beings become president and figured "if the president is a hateful asshole. I can be one too"

@AngryCops Land hogs, resource hogs, noise, and very few jobs and downstream jobs, for a product that is not great. I say this as a conservative. I don’t want one in my back yard, so why would I want one somewhere else These issues could be worked out; but I don’t want one near me.

@pika_nekopanda This is also because when the fighting ended in Europe, many many atrocities were uncovered. In the Pacific, the fighting just slowed down and eventually mostly stopped. There were Japanese holdouts who didn’t surrender until the 1970’s!

@pika_nekopanda However, Americans typically learn about the Europe side of the war more. Because the Island Campaigns were so brutal, I think many see it as inappropriate for children; and Europe was a more conventional war, with traditional fronts and an easy to understand conclusion

@learning_yohei It depends. Sometimes they’re expensive, especially if foreign made. Most guns cost about $4-600 USD, but I personally own some that were about $3000 USD, as I am a firearms enthusiast. I train weekly

@ankoromochuu Because Japan is true to itself and a strong, unquestioned ally of the US - and is positive voice for family values and societal norms. Make America Proud Japan. Do as Abe instructed. Have many children and embrace tradition. Forsake postmodern lies!
