@peterabwooli The cut-off weights were 54.5 for girls and 53.0 for boys. Taking away the additional 1.5, the weights were literally the same for both girls and boys....

A boy scoring 20 points will have a total weight of 53. While they girl will edge him with an extra 1.5 making it 54.5 51 girls and 79 boys were admitted for the course. They all scored 20 points at their A'levels.
