The Karen Read Civil Fund has been live for 17 days and has only raised $9,753. @DoctorTurtleboy raised more than a third of the money in 12 hours than Karen Read and @Nickyhaircuts and the rest of the Karen Read media apparatus has been able to in 17 days. Who needs who now?

A week and a half ago, you were either let go or left the US attorney's office because you were passed over. I know who took that position in your former office, and it was outsourced, you and Chao were rightfully snubbed, because your actions were corrupt and reprehensible. You; 🚨Opened an investigation on behalf of a murder defendant who sold the most outlandish story imaginable at the expense of the murder victim, John O'Keefe, his entire immediate family and all of his friends. A seasoned federal prosecutor fooled by a story that requires 2 decorated law enforcement officers and a house full of innocent civilians to kill a friend and fellow officer in a matter of seconds, then "hide" his body on their own front lawn? You have no judgement, clearly. Or you're really, really pro-crime and anti-victim, that could be it. You know how deeply the O'Keefe family dislikes you, and resents the harm your actions did to their family, because they contacted your former office and told you. How did you respond? Silence. You never even apologized or offered them an explanation. In fact, you completely ignored the WAVES of Officer John O'Keefe's family and friends who came begging and pleading for some clarity and explanation. Radio silence. Cold silence. And for what? Not one target, not one indictment, not even a civil citation. 🚨 And maybe it was because you didn't know what to say. To be fair, that investigation you opened? The "fighting corruption" you claim you did? Wasn't much fight - even with the full force of the DOJ and federal government behind you, you never uncovered any corruption or "real killers." None. No charges, no indictments, no targets ever identified, per statements put out by YOUR former office - just a closed investigation that we shouldn't even know about per Federal Grand Jury laws and DOJ/FBI policy and rules. 🚨 But why do we know about it? That's right - you helped a MURDER DEFENDANT leak information about your supposed-to-be-secret investigation to the media. She was filming a documentary, Adam. Those cameras were rolling, a lot. And that film company has proven to be very cooperative with court orders once already. 🚨 Despite how chatty you were feeling about your completely fruitless investigation, you were completely silent when it came to the harassment and intimidation of YOUR witnesses - you know, the ones you subpoenaed, and then let the MURDER DEFENDANT know you had subpoenaed? Aidan Kearney ran his mouth, Adam, at the same time as those documentary cameras were rolling. He had all the subpoena information, down to witness names and dates. And he got them from Karen Read and her attorneys who got them....from you. I have it all documented. And when Aidan Kearney was indicted on the state level for intimidation of those witnesses, at the time they were YOUR witnesses, you did NOTHING. Imagine a district attorney who happily chases ghosts at the direction of a murder defendant and completely ignores a real, viable crime that is unfolding before his very eyes. Not just ignore it, but facilitate the leaking of sensitive information to the very man intimidating and tormenting those witnesses. That's you as a Federal Prosecutor, you've proven it. And now your campaign platform is to intimate that the witnesses you failed to protect are somehow responsible for a "crime" they have never been charged with, because there is no evidence whatsoever of any wrongdoing on their part, even after you yourself investigated. That's what kind of DA you'd make - the kind that not only fails to protect innocent victims, but who will revictimize them for your own personal gain. 🚨 To further obfuscate what you've done, you showed no regard for American citizens' rights when you attempted to dissuade them from exercising their rights to their own information by filing Privacy Act complaints. "Do you really want to do this?" you hissed into the phone. Those are the words of a man who has something to hide, and has no respect for the law. "Very unusual, very unacceptable." 🚨 There was a marked positive change when Leah Foley took office - suddenly these victim/witnesses were treated as such, suddenly the office became more communicative, more responsive, more empathetic. And best of all, you were ousted. You, Adam Dietch, and Josh Levy helped burn the lovely community of Canton, and the lives of your witnesses, to the ground, and now you want to be king of the ashes? NO. Norfolk county deserves better than you, this country deserves better than you. P.S. most of the voter base you will attract for your reprehensible actions and rhetoric are essentially functionally illiterate, so enjoy that.
