Kelenic, 26, is a former first-round draft pick of the Mets who has had over 1,300 at bats in the past 5 seasons with the Mariners and the Braves, with modest results given his pedigree. The White Sox are hoping they can help Kelenic unleash his massive potential. I have to think he’ll get an extended look in Chicago at some point this season, especially if he stays on this current heater. Interestingly, the @KnightsBaseball do not have any position players on the 40-man roster, as opposed 10 pitchers. @FutureSox

I think a lot of people are going to misinterpret the press conference from John Schneider and Mike Macdonald. IMO, their subdued demeanor had everything to do with not being able to trade back and nothing to do with the player. I believe they love they guy they drafted.
