10-year-old Iranian child in Minab recounts the strike that killed her 11-year-old brother and their teacher mother. My father used to always come and pick me up from school during the last bells. He was outside too. When he heard that sound, he said he wanted to go and save my mother. He went up and then another blast happened, and he was martyred too. We were in school when a sound like a strong wind was heard. All the teachers screamed and ran away. I was scared too and followed my teacher into a classroom, and after that, I became unconscious. A big piece of rock had fallen on my back. When I regained consciousness, a man came to lift it, but he couldn't. Several people came and couldn't do it either. They lifted a corner of it a bit, and I came out myself. I miss them so much. I'm glad they are martyred and I want to follow in their footsteps. May God punish America and Israel.

Confirmed. Wow. I was praying this wouldn’t be confirmed. It was us. The level of anger and shock I have right now is out of this world. This feels like a bad dream. Blood is all over the hands of Trump and Hegseth and anyone else directly involved. Any normal person with a functioning soul who honors God couldn’t live with themselves after doing this. The US has no federal minimum marriage age—it's set by each state. As of 2026, 16 states + DC require age 18 with no exceptions. In the other 34 states, marriage under 18 is allowed with parental/judicial consent (often 16-17, or no minimum in CA, MS, NM, OK). Per Unchained At Last data (2000-2021): ~314k minors married; 86% were girls, vast majority to adult men.
