🇬🇭🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Ghana are thinking about taking 3 players from their local league to the World Cup. For every player they call up, FIFA would pay $11,000 per day. If they don't make it out of the group stage, they would earn around $150,000. This means that 3 local clubs would receive this money, which would mean a lot in the context of the league. The 1992 constitutuon is one of the criminal constitutions to ever exist. Rawlings and Asiedu Nketiah sat down to draw a blatant constitution for the country, after that he left "an indemnity clause" Its so laughable. Ghana will have a long way to go unless it is changed.

Ghana’s Constitution gives the President too much power. When one person becomes President, he does not only lead the country. He gets to choose many of the people who control important offices. He can appoint people to places like the Electoral Commission, Auditor-General, CHRAJ, public boards, judges, security leadership, and many state institutions. That means when one party wins power, they do not just win an election. They get control of the whole system. That is why people call it “winner takes all.” One person wins. Then his party gets almost everything. Jobs. Boards. Appointments. Influence. Power. That is not real democracy. That is a throne with a four-year lease. Even the 2025 Constitution Review Committee saw this problem. They recommended a better system where some important jobs are filled through fair, open, and merit-based processes, not just presidential choice. The report was submitted on 22 December 2025. An implementation committee was promised for 2026. Ghana has known this problem for 33 years. We are still waiting for the fix.

Armed, masked police men are currently in University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. They came, went to the Deputy CMAC’s office and dragged out a whole professor of medicine like a thief, they beat up and threatened to shoot staffs who tried intervening. The hospital gate has been shut down, medics and non medical staff have blocked the gate.
