This approach is exactly why I can never connect to drake’s music on a level deeper than “ok this a banger”. As talented as he is, he has absolutely no vision when it comes to making an album that’s not a playlist. Fucking carti is a better album artist than him.

some people might not fw it but the idea of drake dropping all this music so all his fans have something to enjoy is cool. he can’t fit all these sounds on one cohesive record so i see the vision. folks can just listen to whatever sound they prefer from him.

@AllRapTakes I feel like it’s because Kendrick has the highest scale of the combination of popularity and music that appeals to older generations. For example, Tyler has the popularity, but not the old school appeal and Billy Woods has it vice versa. The only one who comes close is Cole
