@KenneyNL this is my philosophy when it comes to writing code but there's usually no "you can make it good later"

I changed the way I work a couple of months ago to follow this advice, it made a big difference and my productivity went up by miles.

I've never had the heart to tell someone that their game is garbage. But I always give the feedback to improve. Because I know of someone said that to me in the past it would have destroyed me.

While developing Taverna, we built SteamNetGodot a multiplayer framework for #GodotEngine with Steam integration. It would typically cost $1,000,000, but it's FREE!🎉 Written in C# and based on @FcpnchStds 's wrapper. It features🎙 VoIP🌐Matchmaking⚖️Moderation tools and more

I received this reply and it brought a smile to my face. Because if there's one thing I'm well known for it is absolutely bullying smaller developers. 🤨

@pigdev They’re also “relatively” easy to make, at least the once that are “ur in a dark area and this monster will jumpscare you if it touches you”

@pigdev As the other person mentioned I believe it has a lot to do with YouTubers, it’s kind of a ecosystem that goes in a loop YouTubers look for horror games due to how fun those videos can be for viewers -> more horror games get made to get YouTubers to play them etc

Why did horror indie games become so popular? I'm really interested in this trend. I know there was always success in this genre, but it seems like there was a boom in the past 3~4 years. Does it have something to do with Five Nights at Freddy's
