Optics don’t matter to LSU. For nc state, I think it does. Again, regardless if true or not, this likely be skewed as “nc state isn’t serious about competing at the high end of the sport from $ standpoint”

On Tuesday I spoke with Dave Doeren at NC State’s Pro Day. Dave and I have had our moments over the years. I can be tough on him, but I’ve never questioned his decency. As someone who coached D2 football I’ve great respect for what he does for smaller schools in NC.

Look, I have no clue what is going to happen but the amount of conversation going on is concerning. Regardless of what happens, I want it to happen soon. The longer the wait, the worse it can be for next season. Get this done soon and figure out what is best for both parties.

@MJB_18990 yep, college sports will never be viewed the same for me. Boo deserves equal blame.. we land him and can’t even keep him for more than a year.

We’re close to some news that would genuinely make me never look at college sports the same. If we lose Wade there is literally nothing we can do to climb the ladder in college sports and got completely lied to and will be laughed at for years to come.

If you are NC State, the problem with Avent getting ejected is that Link Jarrett was allowed to come on the field and argue ball/strike calls. That is the type of umping inconsistency that annoys coaches.
