Extremely promising to have a bad weather scrimmage and have zero issues off the snap. Where good offensive play starts!
Also, excited to see Harsh and Richardson mentioned on the defensive side of the ball. Upside is phenomenal!

Elliot Avent is about to add a top tier bat in the portal, Wes Moore landed a great forward who can dunk late into the portal, Will Wade landed the ACC-Preseason POY, and Dave Doeren added like one decent OT and CB in the sport with the most additions.

@wolvesden1983 @BobVeneer Every year you’re recruiting the entire team + portal + high school. You think we didn’t need to fund/retain CJ Bailey? Hollywood? Etc. They just stayed along with the 40+ guys we retained? We consistently have 8+ wins and finish top-25 more than not of late…he’s doing fine.

@wolvesden1983 @BobVeneer Also, basketball has the same NIL funds that football does (beyond revenue share) and when you’re recruiting just 15ish players compared to 85 basketball has much more money to spend per player making 5-stars MUCH easier grabs. The two sports aren’t compatible.

@wolvesden1983 I mean we had 9 wins that year, so that provided zero backing of your 6-8 theory. Also, yes we were winning cause we had minimal if any opt-outs and UCLA prior to the COVID string had a mass sitting on their hands.
Also, if 8+ wins and top-25 is mediocre then I’m all for it.

@wolvesden1983 6-8 wins are not the same bowls, and there is a stark different in financials for each level. It’s still very tiered.
Also, UCLA doesn’t back out in 21 you get 10 wins and no title game. It’s not all cohesive and everything has massive levels beyond just one team.

@mcblimp95 Bro your arguments are ridiculous. Double digit wins to single digit wins is massive, not only for a “pride” feeling but what about for a bowl? That team usually makes the ACC Championship. 6-8 wins are pretty much the same bowl games. 10 wins is a massive difference.
