Just finished reading the @ATBASHai article by @0x50so & @perelmanor and honestly, it gave me a different perspective on AI agents. Their main point is that agents are not just “faster humans” and that most of today’s AI infrastructure still treats them like they are. Permissions, approvals, OAuth, audit logs… all of it was designed for humans, not autonomous systems chaining actions on their own. What I found interesting is their focus on “red lines”: instead of trying to monitor everything, stop the agent right before an irreversible action happens. We’re starting to see some mining companies shift from crypto infrastructure to AI infrastructure. AI workloads require predictable compute, stable costs, and control over data. That starts to look a lot closer to traditional infrastructure than most crypto systems today. Makes you wonder how many companies are going to pivot follow this path.
