It would be difficult to imagine Keir Starmer being so forthright in defending his record, but this speaks to what many Labour MPs see as the difference between the two men. Burnham has a story to tell, one that is deeply rooted in a place, while Keir Starmer has been endlessly criticised for his lack of vision. Clearly, this is having an impact within the party. I'm able to make decisions based on many different factors.
One thing that doesn't get talked about enough is how @AndyBurnhamGM made bus travel free for 16-18 year olds with OurPass - it made such a massive difference to my family financially and gave me the freedom to explore our city region for the first time.
