With 35 youth climate activists from 9 countries, we’ve arrived in Strasbourg for the last sitting of the European Parliament before the elections in June We’re here to demand that MEPs stop ripping apart the Green Deal and secure the funds required for a green transition 🌎🚀

The first global temperature data is in for the full month of September. This month was, in my professional opinion as a climate scientist – absolutely gobsmackingly bananas. JRA-55 beat the prior monthly record by over 0.5C, and was around 1.8C warmer than preindutrial levels.

Nach sechs Reise-Tagen, von Berlin nach Warschau, Budapest, Belgrad, Sofia, Istanbul bis nach Ägypten, sind wir angekommen. Heute beginnt die #COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh bei 29°C im Schatten, mitten in der Wüste. Die Lage der Welt ist dramatisch, es gibt jeden Grund zu kämpfen.
