Passenger accounts state it appears as though the plane was beyond abort landing limits and the pilots put the AC down hard and hit the brakes hard in an attempt to stop. He most likely knew he was going to die. BOTH those pilots saved a lot of lives and should be treated as heroes.

@PattiDevine Felix has only made it past the 3rd round in Miami just once - and that was back in 2019. He doesn't have deep runs here or in Indian Wells (outside of a QF run in 2023). Just not his favorite tournaments.

Those 2 pilots of that Air Canada jet that crashed into that firetruck not only saved everyone (that we know of for now) by braking as hard as they could and possibly steered just enough to save those fire fighters lives. They're true heroes.✨️🙏

An air traffic control mistake? Or truck driver’s mistake? Whose mistake was this… Pilots do NOT move an inch on the runway “unless given explicit clearance to move” Another accident in a USA airport possibly because of funding cuts? Another reason not to travel to USA😞
