This is described as "a decisive legal victory for Noelia." This young woman, who was only 25, is dead! What a tragedy and what a total failure by those who made the ruling. As for the doctors and medical staff: I can only view them with complete horror. So sad and shocking.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) rejected a last-minute request to suspend the euthanasia of Noelia, a 25-year-old woman from Barcelona, marking a decisive turning point in a long legal battle over medically-assisted suicide. brusselssignal.eu/2026/03/strasb…

A hospital built by a religious order founded to protect the dying has now been used to end the life of a young traumatised woman who is not terminally ill. Noelia Castillo Ramos has been euthanized. Spain has murdered a 25 year old girl. At a Catholic founded Hospital. Lord have mercy Hospital Sant Camil was founded by the Camillian religious order, the Order of St Camillus de Lellis, after a donation of land in Sant Pere de Ribes near Barcelona in the 1960s. The hospital was built on land donated by a private benefactor and inaugurated in 1975 under the direct supervision of the Camillian fathers. Today it is managed by the Fundació Privada Hospital Residència Sant Camil and operates under agreement with the Catalan health authority, the Institut Català d'Assistència i Serveis Socials (ICASS) and the Servei Català de la Salut (CatSalut). It functions as the public reference hospital for the Garraf region of Barcelona under the Consorci Sanitari Alt Penedès-Garraf. Here is why this matters so much in the context of Noelia's case and it is deeply ironic and deeply painful. The Camillian Order was founded in the 16th century specifically to care for the sick and the dying. Their entire charism, their reason for existing, is the sanctity of human life in its most vulnerable moments. Their motto is Caritas in Infirmis, charity toward the sick. St Camillus de Lellis dedicated his life to reforming hospital care and treating patients with dignity precisely because they were being neglected and exploited by the medical institutions of his day. And yet it is in this very hospital, Sant Camil in Sant Pere de Ribes, that Noelia Castillo Ramos, a 25 year old rape survivor, has today received euthanasia. A hospital built by a religious order founded to protect the dying is now being used to end the life of a young traumatised woman who is not terminally ill. That is not just irony. That is a civilisational collapse in one building. St Camillus himself would weep! @LilaGraceRose @calvinrobinson @LifeSite

'Aircraft should always be vehicles of peace, never of war! No one should fear that threats of death and destruction will come from the sky. After the tragic experiences of the twentieth century, aerial bombardment should have been banished forever! Instead, as we know, it still exists, and technological development, which is positive in itself, is being put at the service of war. This is not progress, it is regression!' Pope Leo XIV

An internal audit found that Naas General Hospital paid over €473,000 to two private companies directed by public consultants to treat waiting-list patients without a competitive tender process. The report highlighted a "fee per patient" system that allowed some doctors to earn over €3,000 more per clinic than standard overtime rates, which auditors labeled an inefficient use of public funds The companies, whose directors were doctors in Tallaght University Hospital, were hired by Naas General Hospital to run extra clinics paid for by the National Treatment Purchase Fund (NTPF), which provides top-up money to reduce public waiting lists. The report from the office of the HSE’s chief internal auditor said the companies had been paid overtime rates between 2022 and 2025. #NTPF independent.ie/irish-news/hea…

Quite. Laws legislating for physician-assisted suicide or euthanasia will inevitably fall short because the ultimate goal of such a law is the deliberate death of citizens. Such a law has no place in a civilised society. Legislatures where it is legal have descended to the depths of uncivilised madness.
Trevor Stammers@STAGEDOC

Ultimately, the Scottish and English bills fell or will fall because their sponsors failed to address concerns about wider consequences. Some supporters preferred fantasy, insisting it was not about “suicide” at all. thetimes.com/article/8872f5…

@TheIrishViking7 The only scary thing I see is an angry man filming little kids playing. Shocking using that foul language in a playground. Very bad form too posting up pictures of parents and small children. If you think the country is in a bad way, your behaviour isn’t improving it.

How can we, as a society, claim to value and support people with disabilities while the vast majority of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted before birth, with the backing of Northern Ireland’s so-called public representatives? #WorldDownSyndromeDay 💙💛 #WDSD2026 #MakeAbortionUnthinkable
