Not all patterns are meant to be obvious. This one requires a bit of lateral thinking.

When Canada decided it was more cost effective to kill suffering vets than treat them was my last straw. Canada would empty the coffers for newcomers rather than those who sacrificed everything. Canada is beyond broken! F*** your elbows Long live The New Alberta Republic #Vets4Independence

Republicans against Trump

Megyn Kelly, who endorsed and campaigned for Trump in the 2024 election: “I didn’t expect the corruption to be quite as widespread as it has been. The self-dealing, the lining of his and his family’s pockets. It’s shocking… You look across the board at the Trump family, I’ve never seen a family get so rich off the presidency.”

Clinton balanced the budget in the late 90s, only for a republican to get elected in 2000 and destroyed the budget surplus that Clinton worked so hard on. I never want to hear how Republicans are “better” for the economy ever again.

Ok hear me out 😂😂😂 Canada should trade Alberta for Cuba. Cuba has world class doctors, incredible music, pristine beaches, and zero corporate lobbyists running the government. Alberta has oil, a premier who thinks Ottawa is the enemy, and nine months of winter. We send them Danielle Smith. They send us a mojito and a medical system that actually works. Cuba’s GDP is about $107 billion. Alberta’s is $361 billion CAD. But Cuba built theirs under 60 years of American economic warfare. Alberta built theirs by sitting on top of the world’s third largest oil reserves and still complaining about equalization. Honestly? Cuba did more with less. The best part of this deal: the Americans would absolutely hate it. A sovereign, thriving Cuba integrated into the Canadian economy? With access to our trade networks and free from the embargo? Washington would lose their minds. Trump would probably sanction us. Honestly at this point, worth it. Canada gets: rum, cigars, doctors, beaches, and a population that knows how to actually enjoy life. Alberta gets: to be someone else’s problem for once. I’m calling my MP. Make it happen. This is just a funny post Albertans. We wouldn’t trade you for Cuba. Although we’d trade some of your population for some Cubans.

@Bonkavision5 Well if we didn't have to provide a meaningful defense deterrent for half of the globe...........we wouldn't be in the financial shape we are in today. How about Australia protecting the shipping lanes in the Pacific for a while at their expense?

Too on point not to share. This is great, but too bad the Orange Felon’s enablers won’t let him see it. This Australian's reply to #Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect. "Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage. You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail. Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates. Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you. And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again. And you're calling Greenland poorly run? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no. 'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years. And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess. So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth." - Tony Locke

Dude, Australia is a far removed from NATO as a political entity can be. You have zero standing in that horse race. Maybe you should be thankful that the United States in all its supreme power had the forbearance, the will, and the desire to keep the evils of communism from infecting your island

I said way back: "It is highly likely that to achieve independence Albertans will have to; 1. Make a Unilateral Declaration of Independence 2. Seek recognition of independence from the United States & other countries if possible 3. Defend our borders" I was scoffed at, but how about now? Are you beginning to see what I am seeing? The federal government of Canada would rather put us all in concentration camps than let us have our legal independence. We are going to have to fight for it. For real

In 1998, the United States achieved its first federal budget surplus in 29 years, effectively ending a streak of deficits that had lasted since 1969. This milestone was achieved under President Bill Clinton, following the passage of the Balanced Budget Act of 1997, which resulted in a fiscal surplus of approximately $69 billion for that year.
