Ed Sheeran is a better football club owner than David Sullivan. Just let that sink in.

West Ham are not Everton Everton are a big club with huge potential. West Ham are a yo yo club, never been any good, never win anything and when you did you sacked the manager! You wanted the West Ham way. You are now yo yo. You got it ✅
Mark Daws@Dawstours

@curtiswoodhous8 Toffees starting to also wish for European nights and relegation. Lazy comment.

West Ham needs fresh investment if they're serious about competing again. Křetínský has the resources to restructure the club and its finances. The real question is whether Sullivan would ever concede enough control to let that happen. What happens next. #WHUFC #COYI #IRONS

@KieranMaguire @CornishHammer67 From my understanding, restructuring the players salaries is key for us when complying with SCR. Loss of revenue = less to spend on salaries. West Ham needs a financial model change in the coming months to stabilise and then rebuild.

I will be talking on BBC1 in a few mins about the financial winners and losers in the 2025/26 season. Probably not a good idea to watch if you are a West Ham fan.

@KieranMaguire Of course this will rely on an owner being able to finance the restructuring. That's the concerning part.

He finished 9th Dan you wally and won a European cup. Today you get relegated. The West Ham way
Dan@danjarvis21380

@curtiswoodhous8 Curtis you are a wally. It was moyes that started the decline. Look at some of the results in his final season. The issue was not getting rid of Moyes, it was the boards failure to recruit the right manager to take us forward. Educate yourself before making a prat of yourself

Little insight into next season… Will they open the top tier? What is the capacity of the bottom tier?

@Evertxn Moyes had a contract offer on the 23rd December. He didn't sign it. There is a narrative that has been formed away from factual content.

West Ham got relegated and sacking Moyes was still the correct decision. Half their current team is shite he signed. They just replaced him terribly.

@curtiswoodhous8 The context which you're trying to make has no real backing. Everton are quite irrelevant in terms of success since an FA Cup victory in 1995. I would say fanbase and actual recent history (last 15 years) there is no difference between the likes of Everton and West Ham.

Everton are a massive club, massive fanbase with huge history. New ground, they need to be in Europe and pushing on now and maybe Moyes isn’t the man for that for them. You are West Ham? Never been any good, your Norwich/Southampton. A yo yo club. Get back in your lane

@curtiswoodhous8 Like moyes today even the everton fans have had enough of him our board let us down getting shit managers in

At least the West Ham fans got what they wanted, they got to play the famous West Ham way. Winning European cups under Moyes is crap! The West Ham way is what they wanted. Blowing bubbles, pie and liquor, relegation. The West Ham way. Tin pot club, embarrassing fan base 🤝✅

@FvdE @RoshaneSport We will need Krentisky to have more control and use him to leverage the debt we have into equity.

⚒️ Todibo told Nuno he would never play for him again ⚒️ The club must raise £150m in player sales ⚒️ Nuno's clashes with backroom staff ⚒️ Most of the players preferred Potter's pre-game preparation Inside West Ham’s miserable relegation. #WHUFC nytimes.com/athletic/70833…

This is exactly what David Sullivan has toyed with for years. Sacking David Moyes was the wrong move, but it isn’t what’s caused this. David Sullivans lack of ability to find a suitable, ambitious replacement is.

@Ciaran__od Not factually true. It's only £35m each season over 3 years. They can refinance debt into equity but that is not injecting cash. FFP, PSR, and SCR rules have stopped massive cash injections from owners.

Before they make excuses about the finances I am once again reminding everyone that Sullvian and Kretinsky can put money in themselves to cover costs and we wouldn’t fall foul of any financial regulations
