Why is the Government acting like it didn't know about the U.S. tariff increases? The Afrikaner Delegation has told the Government about the four demands for weeks now.

@RenaldoGouws @waveyboi9 Just love these keyboard worries that love to chirp in the comments "biassed" while they sing and say what they like. Then, when you stand your ground, they conveniently pull the race card for something pulled out of context.
English

@waveyboi9 I take it you haven't seen the full 6 minute video and think the 15 second snippet they forced down your throat is the evidence.

I will be releasing a full press statement in the coming week but just wanted to provide some facts for those who were failed by the media outlets surrounding this "leaked" video over the past three months, and, considering now, that my party membership is terminated I think it's time for you to know the truth.
The video is from 2010 and is 6 minutes long, not 15 seconds as initially thought by tens of thousands of people who have seen IOL's clip. The same clip shared by most Mainstream Media outlets, The unfortunate part is, here we are 3 months later, and MSM is still only giving you 4% of the story. Leaving out the remaining 96% of the video and all its context.
IOL, who broke the story, in NONE of their 21 follow-up articles on me, provided a link to the FULL video, even though they were fully aware of it.
I have lodged 21 Press Complaints against various outlets and so far have 1 ruling in my favour. The other 20 will follow after IOL's appeal is dealt with. I will not stop at anything to clear my name and hold those accountable who participated in this horrible smear campaign.
The video was produced in 2010 (14 years ago) to speak about the double standards of racism. I used the K word and N word to evoke a response in order to showcase how it feels to hear Kill the Boer, Kill the Farmer. The point was a hyperbole. It was never used to incite hate or aim it at any particular person.
I apologized for those videos in 2013, 2016, 2021 and again in 2024. The person being crucified here by the media and people on X isn't the same Renaldo as the one in 2010.
The terms used were NEVER meant to insult or belittle anyone and if hearing those words now is hurtful to you then I profusely apologise.
I have said it before and will say it again, if I could go back in time and not use those words knowing what I know now I would never have used them. It's not words I ever use. It's words I detest. But at the time I believed it suitable to use as an extreme example against Kill the Boer being sung. Call it being ignorant, dumb or following the guidelines on how MSM used those terms in full when they reported on racism.
Before I joined a political party, I ensured that I did a lot of introspection, and had a lot of conversations with people from all walks of life. I went through two young leadership programs and it changed my view on South Africa and how devastating our past was to millions of South Africans.
After going through my old videos in 2013. I deleted videos I didn't agree with anymore, whether it was too much swearing, too angry or my viewpoints changed.
I came out a completely different person with a much better perspective on South Africa and its people. With a broader focus on how many suffer still to this day, whether it be due to Apartheid or a failure by the ANC government for the last 29 years.
This changed person (me) decided to enter politics and wanted to be the change he wanted to see in South Africa.
I think I did a relatively good job in politics by representing the poorest of the poor to the affluent in my ward as a councillor. It is the most diverse ward in Nelson Mandela Bay, and if you had to ask any of them how I was as a councillor, I'm sure the overwhelming majority would say that I was dedicated and hard-working.
Long story short the moment I was sworn in as an MP to continue to do my good work, IOL released a snippet of a video that was without any context. They only showcased 4% of a video that completely changed the point of the video. Since then, and after they became aware of the full video, they are still refusing to share it in their articles or at least update the full article. Why is this?
It's crystal clear that IOL wanted to drive a smear campaign against me and used the best time to discredit me. They did this as I was being sworn in and becoming a Member of Parliament.
It's due to their sheer intent of malice and failure to report truthfully, honestly and accurately that I want to make an example out of them and that is why I will be taking them to court. Especially now after their smear campaign cost me my role as a Member of Parliament and severely damaged my reputation.
So if you would like to see me hold them accountable for their lies and unethical behavior I would greatly appreciate it if you could donate or share this with people you know that would.

It's time that we hold these media houses to account, remember, you very well might be next. And once the media storm starts, there is no ending it, until they get what they want out of you, which is everything they can get.

@RenaldoGouws Thank you, Renaldo, for being the better man you are today. Nelson Mandela, an ex convict with a sketchable past (MK days), became president. The point is to hell with MSM and fake journalism. They can make or break a person. Unfortunately, this power is not always used for good
