Yesterday, I met with Maj. Gen. Gent Welsh of the Washington National Guard. We had a good conversation about what's going on in Minnesota and to talk through different scenarios. Bringing up our National Guard is one tool we have to protect Washingtonians if necessary.

The administration is sending 1,000 more ICE agents to Minnesota. That's over 3,000 federal agents flooding our streets, almost triple the combined police forces of Minneapolis and St. Paul. ICE is sowing chaos in our communities. They need to get off our streets immediately.
