@climbtechy @au_tom_otive Just not my cup of tea. Not a fan of the minimalist look at all. I like the buttons it’s simple and the balance is right. The point about the infotainment is valid, reason Kia is a car company dabbling in software, Tesla an I.T company trying to make a car.

@PaulKitchenMan @au_tom_otive I’ve not tried BYD but the Kia EV6 looked like buttons had thrown up in a car and the infotainment was really dated, no apps and suchlike. My Tesla has stalks but the point about the indicators on the new model is valid.

It’s true that some ‘legacy’ automakers’ products aren’t on par with Tesla. Some are better. The people who believe that Teslas are the best cars in the world patently haven’t driven many cars before.

@climbtechy @au_tom_otive Hyundai, Kia’s and undoubtedly BYD. The latter blows everything out of the water. Teslas are a gadget and I admire the tech but as a car they look awful and need simplifying for basic functions like direction of travel, heating and indicators. It’s form over function.
