Great news! Hopefully a sign of things to come for ongoing charges still repressing the lives & speech of cop city opponents: when it finally came time for the state to make its case, it preferred to drop the charges. The courts can only function if most people take plea deals.

Today all charges are dismissed for eight activists facing felony charges related to a Cop City protest in 2022. The state knows there was never a legitimate case to begin with. These charges were simply used to terrorize the public out of opposing the police's political agenda.
